57. No other NFL team has allowed fewer points to opposing RB than the Jets have in their first two games.  I still wouldn’t sit Forte who is a huge part of the entire offense, but I also don’t think he’s going to go off.  Forte’s involvement in creative looks and in the passing game also helps Forte retain his value in a bad matchup.. Chicago Bears. Week 3 @ Jets. Matt Forte. 6. player

Green Bay Packers. Week 3 @ Lions. Eddie Lacy. 8. player. 49. Lacy has been underwhelming this season as an RB1 with a total of 77 yards in the first two games.  In my mind, he’s a great buy-low candidate since as time goes on the Packers will need to get their running backs involved..

player. 124. Davis will most likely start in place of Jamaal Charles and take his full workload.  Davis looked good in week 2 his first full-time work of the season. He finished with 22 carries for 79 yards while scoring a pair of rushing touchdowns , and he also added six catches on nine targets for 26 yards.  Expect him to step into the same featured role the Chiefs had for Charles, making him an instant top ten consideration.  . Kansas City Chiefs. Week 3 @ Dolphins. Knile Davis. 9

player. 48. The Falcons have allowed more fantasy points to opposing RB’s than any other team in the league getting gashed by Gio Bernard, Jeremy Hill, and Mark Ingram.  Martin is a must start RB1 if he is able to suit up against the struggling Atlanta defense.  . Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Week 3 @ Falcons. Doug Martin. 10

55. If Bell is going to produce this week, his numbers will most likely come through his involvement in the Steelers passing game.  Carolina has yet to allow an opposing running back to get to the end zone shutting down both the Bucs and the Lions in their first two games.  If you have Bell, he’s probably still going to be in your lineup, but this is a brutal matchup for the Steelers feature-back.. Pittsburgh Steelers. Week 3 @ Panthers. Le'Veon Bell. 11. player

Denver Broncos. Week 3 @ Seahawks. Montee Ball. 12. player. 45. Another good back in a bad matchup, Ball completes the true RB1 tier.  Ball only managed a total of three yards on six carries and two catches in the Super Bowl last year, and he’ll probably find it tough going again this week as Denver travels to CenturyLink Field where the Seahawks defense will be anxious to purge last week’s struggles from their minds.  Like Bell, if you have Ball you probably have to go with him, but temper your expectations for this week’s output.

player. 50. Bell’s matchup is a much for favorable one as he and the Lions host the Packers.  Bell has been getting more snaps than backfield-mate Reggie Bush and carries the load by the goal line as well. The Packers have allowed the seventh most fantasy points to opposing RB’s so far this season and Marshawn Lynch dominated them in week 1.  Look for the Lions to get Bell involved early and use his hard running style to control the game.  The only concern with Bell is his “questionable” status.  Make sure he’s cleared to play, and as long as he’s active get him in your lineups.  . Detroit Lions. Week 3 vs Packers. Joique Bell. 13

Philadelphia Eagles. Week 3 vs Redskins. Darren Sproles. 14. player. 54. Even in non-PPR leagues, Sproles is the highest scoring RB through the first two weeks.  He’s been a threat both as a rusher and a receiver and has found the end zone each of the first two weeks.  Since he is in a timeshare with McCoy, he’s still not quite a true RB1 consideration, but playing against the Redskins he should find enough space to make him a very nice RB2 start this week at home.

Stacy bounced back from a rough week one with a touchdown and 71 yards while dominating the workload out of the backfield and erasing any concern that he’s losing his job to Benny Cunningham.  This week, he’ll face a Cowboys defense that has been much more solid than people expected them to be, but still struggle to slow the opposing RB.  The Rams will try to ride Stacy to a home win, so I expect a heay workload for him this week in a nice matchup.  My only hesitation is that the Rams offense has been struggling as a whole in their QB search and if they fall behind Dallas early they may be forced to abandon the run.  Despite that possibility, Stacy is a solid RB2 this week.. St. Louis Rams. Week 3 vs Cowboys. Zac Stacy. 15. player. 51
