The world is getting the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus today as the release of the new phone is happening all across the country. naturally, Apple CEO Tim Cook is out for the festivities but he’s not safe from being trolled while introducing his new product to the market.

Cook, who graduated from Auburn in 1982, was just trying to introduce the new iPhones to the world when an Alabama fan decided to troll him with a ‘Roll Tide’ chant. Rather than get defensive or display a lack of sense of humor, Cook responded with a ‘War Eagle’ cry to counter his rival.

This is just further proof that the cliche about nerds and jocks not getting along is bogus, as the tech guru Tim Cook taking a stand against an Alabama fan for nothing other than sports reasons is just plain awesome.

It’s not the first time that Cook has flexed his Auburn muscles either and it won’t be the last. Apple may be the most powerful tech company in the world and one of the most cutting edge innovators of out time — but not even it is exempt from the Alabama-Auburn rivalry the dominates college football lore.
