The Cleveland Cavaliers have put together one of the finest offseasons we’ve seen in recent history as they added the best player on the planet, one of the best power forwards in the game and a slew of top tier veteran help to aid the roster this year. But the Cavs might not be done adding piece to their puzzle.

More from Brooklyn Nets

NBA scribe Chuck Myron opines that should the Nets bottom out this season, Kevin Garnett could make his way to Cleveland in a trade but don’t hold your breath.

"Well, first off, KG’s got a no-trade clause, so he’d have to be on board with that. He might well approve a trade to play with a contender like that (he approved the trade to Brooklyn), but I don’t think Cleveland would go for that. KG doesn’t seem to have all that much left in the tank"

the trade makes a lot of sense on the surface, but it’s something that might be better suited for NBA2K15 rather than reality. Brooklyn would ask for a lot in exchange for Garnett just because they can — and they gave up a lot to get him. Garnett would surely waive his no-trade clause to land in Cleveland but it’s not something you should bet on seeing happen unless things really fall apart in Brooklyn.
