Eric Ebron scores first career TD for Lions vs Jets (Video)
The Detroit Lions drafted former North Carolina Tar Heels tight end Eric Ebron with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft with the expectations that he would be another weapon for Matthew Stafford in the passing game. However, the start of his career has been a bit of a disappointment.

Ebron had only three receptions for 38 yards in the first three games of his professional career entering Sunday’s game against the New York Jets and was still looking for his professional touchdown.
That happened in Week 4 in the closing seconds of the first half as Stafford found Ebron for a 16-yard touchdown with 22 seconds remaining in the first half to extend their lead to 17-3 over the Jets.
With the first score out of the way, perhaps that will be a sign of things to come for Ebron as he can relax and settle in and get comfortable in this talented offense and see some more consistent performances from the top-10 pick.
