Happy Sunday! Week 4 of the NFL season is already very much underway, as evidenced by the lopsided blowout win on Thursday night when the New York Giants upended the Washington Professional Football Team, and as always, we are here to provide the handicapping end of the spectrum. Prior to each of the first three Sundays of the 2014 season, we have brought you the “best bets” on the NFL slate, and while the early results haven’t screamed “success”, we are undeterred from bringing you the knowledge that you need to navigate the waters.

As usual, we will be fading the public as a general rule, and to be quite clear, “holding your nose” may be a necessary act when picking some of the underdogs on the board in Week 4. Before we get to the picks, let’s look at where we stand for the season, including last week’s results from what was an up-and-down performance:

  • Last week: 2-3
  • Season: 6-9

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at this week’s selections!
