Tennessee Titans (+7.5) over Indianapolis Colts

Charlie Whitehurst? No problem! The Titans may be without Jake Locker, who has been highly limited in practice all week, but Locker has looked woeful since the season-opening win over Kansas City, and of course, the Colts looked lights-out in dispatching of the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.

Naturally, we will take the Titans on the road.

I subscribe to the school of thought that Indianapolis is a bad team who happens to have a very good quarterback (the honorable Andrew Luck), and if we were to remove the QB position entirely, the Titans just might be the better team in this match-up. Obviously, the quarterback matters a great deal, but if Whitehurst (or Locker) can simply take care of the ball and rely on a three-headed running game and what should be a reasonably decent defense, Tennessee can hang close.

Hold your nose and take Tennesssee.
