By Bryan Rose
For much of he early 2000’s basketball fans were treated to some amazing matchups which involved elite power forward talent like Karl Malone, Chris Webber, Tim Duncan and more.

Also involved were players like Kevin Garnett and Rasheed Wallace who despite some rather intense battles became good friends over the years. Wallace has of course since retired though Kevin Garnett continues to defy his age as he’ll embark on his 20th NBA season this year with the Brooklyn Nets.
So what’s Rasheed Wallace been up to while Kevin Garnett continues to live out the NBA dream? Well, the man who famously suggested the ‘ball don’t lie’ has been working with the Detroit Pistons as an assistant coach though KG feels differently, suggesting Wallace has been sitting at home getting fat.
While I’m sure Rasheed Wallace is accustom to Kevin Garnett taking friendly swipes at him I’m not sure he expected his weight to be used as a weapon.
In fairness to Sheed, while he does look to have packed on some pounds since his playing days, the last time he was seen he didn’t appear to overweight so Garnett seems to having a little fun with his friend. The response from KG should certainly bring Rasheed Wallace out of media hiding though as the former NBA power forward has never met a microphone he didn’t like.
From Sheed’s comment about the ball not lying to the sun shining on dog’s ass, hopefully when Rasheed Wallace responds to Kevin Garnett it will become as infamous as his other quotes/slogans.
