New England Patriots (3-2) at Buffalo Bills (3-2)

The Bills got super lucky in their Week 5 victory, as the Lions missed three field goals that would have potentially won the game. They won’t get that lucky this week against the Patriots.

There’s virtually no difference between the Bills’ offense and a pile of burning garbage right now. That’s not exactly accurate, but they’re averaging 19.3 PPG and have three dynamic playmakers in Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller, and Sammy Watkins. The quarterbacks, E.J. Manuel and Kyle Orton, can be to blame for that. Honestly, I’m just waiting for the Bills to put it all together. That may or may not come against New England.

Fresh off their best win of the season, the Patriots need to avoid a letdown game. The last time the Patriots went on the road, they got stomped by the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Patriots don’t bring the same energy and protect Brady in the same way they did against the Bengals, they could easily lose to the Bills.

The most interesting matchup of the game will be the Patriots’ running game against the Bills’ defense.

The Bills are leading the league in rushing defense and only allowing 71 yards per game. The key to the Patriots’ win over the Bengals was their 220 rushing yards. If the Bills can make Brady throw 40-plus times by stopping the run, the Bills should be able to win this game.

I want to pick the Bills so bad, but I remember the last 15 years of Patriots football.
