Fancred launches app for Android devices
Back in early 2013, the Fancred app made its way into sports fans’ lives, giving us all a new, innovative way to share our love for sports with one another. It started out as just simply an iOS app in 2013, then it made its way to desktop. Still, with the growing technology market, the one place that it was missing from was the Google Play store for Android operating systems.

Well, that is no longer the case.
On Wednesday morning, October 8, the fine folks from Fancred officially watched the launch of their product on the Android OS, making a good amount of sports fans very happy.
Via the official press release from Fancred:
"As sports fans, we cheer for our teams, go to games, buy gear, take photos, celebrate the wins and mourn the losses. Fancred is a place for sports enthusiasts to share and collect those memories, like a digital shoebox, while connecting with like-minded fans, teams and influencers. Easy to use and beautifully designed, Fancred’s Android app allows users to upload photos and videos, check-in at stadiums, share interesting articles and funny GIFs, and experience game day every day."
This is just a short explanation of what the Fancred app can actually do, as for most sports fans, the entire experience is like none other. It is an entire community, as was explained by the company’s CEO, Hossein Razzaghi.
“Fancred was founded on the fundamental belief that deeply passionate communities are built around sports teams,” said Fancred’s CEO, Hossein Kash Razzaghi. “The fans that make up those groups have incredibly unique memories, experiences, and one-of-a-kind moments that create a very special bond. Fancred has always been about giving fans a platform to capture and share those moments and we are excited to welcome Android users to our community so they too can have the same experience.”
Here is a look at the new Fancred app, now available for Android devices.
This is just another step for a company that began to revolutionize the way that we enjoy our favorite sporting events, and there’s no telling what step they will take next.
But for now, all of the Android users that have been clamoring for the Fancred app on their mobile devices, well, now you can click here and download away!
