NFC East

Team W L Pct. Pt. Dif GB Odds
Philadelphia Eagles 5 1 .833 51 50.6%
Dallas Cowboys 5 1 .833 39 78.8%
New York Giants 3 3 .500 -5 2 7.9%
Washington 1 5 .167 -34 4 3.2%

It is tough to argue against the computers in the NFC East. Dallas has looked dominant lately, including winning on the road in Seattle last week. With the way their offensive line is playing, the Cowboys look like they should be competing for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

Philadelphia is the only other team with a realistic shot at the playoffs at this point. They haven’t played well in most of their games, but they’ve still managed to pull out wins. That isn’t sustainable, especially as their schedule gets tougher.

The Giants would like to think they are still in the race, but their play thus far in the season would disagree. They were a nice story for a couple weeks in there, but they don’t appear to have the talent to hang with Dallas and Philadelphia over the course of a 16-game season.
