Jacksonville Jaguars (+5.5) over Cleveland Browns

No one is on the Jaguars.

No one.

Naturally, I am on the Jaguars.

Depending on where you look, somewhere around 80% of wagers have been on the Browns, and it isn’t difficult to decipher the reasoning. Cleveland is playing quality football after a blowout win over the Steelers and a massive comeback against Tennessee, while Jacksonville is still winless on the 2014 season.

However, the Jags are playing much more competitive football in the Blake Bortles era, and getting nearly a touchdown at home is no joke. Cleveland is better than Jacksonville, and I’m not going to dispute that, but this line basically refers to the Browns as a team that is nearly 10 points better on a neutral field, and I don’t see that.
