30. Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In 2012 as a rookie, he was one of the best running backs in the league. But injuries have taken their toll. In four of the six games he’s played this season, he’s led the club in carries. But he’s rushed for just 139 yards and one touchdown in four outings this season. And Martin has totaled on seven catches this season to date.

29. Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders

The Silver and Black rank dead last in the league in rushing yards per game, averaging a mere 69.3 yards per contest. McFadden has totaled 279 of the club’s 414 yards on the ground and has the Raiders’ lone two rushing touchdowns. The oft-injured performer is averaging a mere 3.8 yards per carry.

28. Bishop Sankey, Tennessee Titans

The first running back taken in the 2014 NFL draft leads the Titans with 267 yards rushing but is a non-factor in the passing game. The last two weeks, Sankey has totaled 34 attempts for 117 yards while veteran Shonn Green has been inactive.  But is he ready to take on a much bigger load as Ken Whisenhunt’s club attempts to dig itself out of a disappointing 2-5 hole.

27. Zac Stacy, St. Louis Rams

The second-year pro leads the club with 240 yards rushing this season and has also caught a dozen passes in 2014. But he was a complete non-factor in Sunday’s upset of the Seattle Seahawks as he was active but did not record a carry or reception. Tre Mason was the back-of-the-day this past weekend but via Larry Hartstein of CBSSports, head coach Jeff Fisher says Stacy could be busy this weekend against the Chiefs. We’ll see.
