10.) Peyton Manning

I’m probably insane for having a 38-year-old in my top 10. After all, these franchises would be starting over and the future would be the biggest concern. However, Manning is currently playing the quarterback position at the highest level it’s ever been played. I think there would be some teams that would be willing to take a chance on Manning for a couple of season.

Manning’s 2013 season is well known by everyone after he set the record for touchdowns (55) and yards (5,477), and he is still playing at the highest level this year. Through six games, Manning already has 19 touchdowns and 1,848 yards.

Despite his age, Manning will likely continue to be a MVP candidate until he retires.

9.) Russell Wilson

Last season ended with Wilson becoming the third youngest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl at just 25 years old.

Although I don’t believe Wilson is the type of quarterback to carry an average team, the blueprint for his success is out there for a team to mirror. He has proved to be an elite game manager with the ability to make plays with his feet and he rarely makes poor decisions.

Wilson continues to get better after each week, and I think he is coming off the best individual performance of his career after having 419 total yards and three touchdowns.
