Big 12

No. 7 TCU Horned Frogs – The Horned Frogs got a lot of love from the playoff committee, bolting all the way up to No. 7. The No. 20 West Virginia Mountaineers will be their next big test, and they’ll have to go without a few players for this one.

New/Updated injuries

  • WR Josh Doctson (foot) – Probable vs. West Virginia
  • QB Matt Joeckel (leg) – Out indefinitely

Ongoing injuries

  • OL Frank Kee (shoulder) – Out indefinitely
  • RB Shaun Nixon (knee) – Out indefinitely
  • DL Devonte Fields (disciplinary) – Out indefinitely

No. 9 Kansas State Wildcats – The Wildcats shut out Texas last week, and now will try to claw their way up the rankings, starting with a visit from the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Other than the known injury to Travis Green, the Wildcats have nothing new reported.

New/Updated injuries

  • DB Travis Green (leg) – Out indefinitely

No. 13 Baylor Bears – The Bears have had a week off to lick the wounds inflicted by the Mountaineers, and now girt up to take on the Kansas Jayhawks, with what is sure to be a little pent up frustration.

Ongoing injuries

  • DE Jamal Palmer (ACL) – Out for season
  • OG Desmine Hilliard (wrist) – Out for season
  • OL Troy Baker (knee) – Out for season

No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners – The Sooners return from their bye to take on a hungry Iowa State team. The Sooners can’t afford another loss and they can’t afford any more injuries with a list like this.

  • RB Keith Ford (fibula) – Probable vs. Iowa State
  • TE/QB Blake Bell (head) – Probable vs. Iowa State

No. 20 West Virginia Mountaineers – The Mountaineers will be in what could be one of the best games of the week, as they take on the No. 7 TCU Horned Frogs at home. National and Big 12 implications on the line. WVU will be getting back several players who were out last week, but lose QB William Crest for the season.

  • RB Rushel Shell (foot) – Probable vs. TCU
