New York – Sammy Watkins

New York has the country’s biggest city which boasts two NFL franchises: the New York Giants and the New York Jets. Surprisingly, the most popular player in the state based on jersey sales belongs to the Buffalo Bills.

And to make it even more compelling, it is rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins. So Watkins beat out Eli Manning, the man who led the Giants to two Super Bowl wins.
