4. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs were expecting another big season from Jamaal Charles this year, but that simply hasn’t been the case. He was coming off of a huge season last year, but that version of Charles hasn’t been able to show up this season. Kansas City has gotten off to a bit of a slow start this year due to the start that Charles has had.

So far this season in six games he has gained just 357 yards and four touchdowns on 78 carries. Whether that lack of big production is due to defenses focusing on shutting down the run or just having an off season, he needs to figure out a way to pick it up.

Kansas City won’t be able to play to their full potential this season until they get their franchise player back on track. He is one of the fastest backs in the league, and he is also one of the best playmakers in the open field. The Chiefs need to focus on getting him the football and creating ways for him to get into the open and make things happen.
