Philip Rivers – San Diego Chargers

Unlike the first two quarterbacks on this list, Rivers actually has a lot of himself to blame for not being able to reach NFL nirvana.

Great arm? Check. Shaky mentality? Check.

Fabulous Philip has a reputation as a fiery competitor (or a big baby, depending on which side of the field you support), and he’s got a penchant for displacing blame when things go bad.

Rivers will compile some sick career stats, and be right up there on the list of the league’s best ever passers, but his tendency to buckle under pressure, and to make huge mistakes that cost his team games will always be his undoing.

Plus, he plays for one of the most snakebitten franchises in the NFL, which fits in with his personality just fine, but won’t bring home the gold when final whistle blows on his career.
