Tony Romo – Dallas Cowboys

Say what you want about Tony Romo, but you don’t start passing Roger Staubach on the Cowboys’ all-time record book in any category unless you are a damn good quarterback.

He’s played on Cowboys teams that had fierce defense, but huge holes on offense. He’s played on teams that have been able to score in droves, but had a defense that gave up even bigger droves. He’s been to the playoffs and choked, and he’s had his team in position to make the playoffs for three straight years, and intercepted his way to a seat on the couch during the postseason.

The Cowboys may have finally started to get it all together, but Romo’s battles with back injuries could end up bringing his career to a premature end.

By the time Jerry Jones realizes that he needs to fire his GM, Romo will be just another Cowboy who rode off into the sunset without a ring.
