Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

Miami seems to be the popular pick here, but I’m not sure I agree with the national perception on this one. First off, the Bills have won the last three meeting between these two teams and the last two games they outscored the Dolphins by a combined score of 48-10. Plus, the Dolphins just lost their starting left tackle for the season and the Bills lead the NFL in sacks. I think this will be a great game, but I’ve got the Bills pulling out the road win.

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears

I’m struggling with what to base my pick in this game on. On one hand, if you go by talent on the roster the Bears look like the smart pick. However, if you go by how they look on the field the Bears have been a complete train wreck while the Vikings have played very competitive football of late. The Bears are actually 0-3 at home so far this season so there doesn’t seem to be much home field advantage going on in the windy city. Still, I’m going to roll with the Bears for one more week. I have to believe that at some point that offense is going to break out and score points like most of us expected this season.
