Fantasy Football Week 11 Leaders: Top Performers
Running Backs
Jonas Gray-New England Patriots
Last week in my waiver wire pickups, I said not to forget the Patriots rookie as New England came off their bye week. Well, no one will forget Gray now after a huge primetime performance in the Patriots rout of Indy. Gray was more than a part of the Patriots gameplan, he was the gameplan taking a league-high 38 handoffs for a total of 199 yards. He set the Patriots team record with four touchdowns and single-handedly won the week for anyone with the foresight to roll the dice on him this week. Gray’s usage won’t be this heavy every game, but he’s still a huge waiver wire pickup this week.
Jamaal Charles-Kansas City Chiefs
After a slow start to the season, Charles has been carrying the Chiefs offense and his fantasy owners to some very nice wins in recent weeks. Charles has found the end zone in five straight games and had a pair of rushing touchdowns and 159 yards rushing against a tough Seattle Seahawks run defense. He added 19 yards on a pair of receptions.
Eddie Lacy-Green Bay Packers
Like Charles, Lacy has come on lately and had another solid game despite a light workload in the Packers rout of the Eagles. Lacy ran for 69 yards and a touchdown on his 10 carries and added a second touchdown on one of his three catches for 45 yards.
Matt Forte-Chicago Bears
Forte didn’t find the end zone but piled up enough yards to still get into our week 11 leaders. He ran 26 times for 117 yards and added 58 yards on his six catches. He managed to have a huge game even though he never got into the end zone.
Jeremy Hill-Cincinnati Bengals
With Giovani Bernard still sidelined, Hill again took a full workload and was impressive in the Bengals road win at New Orleans. He didn’t manage to find the end zone but did run for 152 yards on 27 carries and added 13 yards on his one catch.
Alfred Blue-Houston Texans
Like Hill, Blue stepped in admirably with big yardage but no touchdowns as he filled in for Arian Foster. The Texans handed Blue the ball an astounding 36 times, and he managed to pick up 156 yards against the Browns as the Texans won Ryan Mallett’s first start 23-7.
Marshawn Lynch-Seattle Seahawks
You an add Lynch to the list of players with big yards and no touchdowns as he ran for 124 yards on his 24 carries against the Chiefs. He added one catch for one yard, but fantasy owners will be disappointed he didn’t get to the end zone.
