AFC East Teams

Buffalo Bills: TheDefensive Line

Buffalo’s offense is a complete mess, but the team is still winning because their defense has played extremely well this season. For the Bills, it all starts up front. Kyle Williams, Mario Williams and Marcell Dareus have each been dominant this season.

Miami Dolphins: Ryan Tannehill

At 6-5, the Dolphins are just one game out of the playoffs right now in large part because of the quiet development of of their young quarterback. Miami’s patience has paid off, as Tannehill has slowly improved in each year he’s been in the league. The Dolphins can now move forward knowing they have their long-term solution at quarterback.

New England Patriots: Bill Belichick

There was a time early in this season when the narrative out of New England was that the talent on offense had deteriorated too far for the Patriots to remain competitive. New England is now 9-2 and are tied for the best record in the NFL. Belichick is a master at getting the most out of the talent on his team, and that is exactly what he’s going this year.

New York Jets: The Defensive Line

The New York Jets have 99 problems, but the defensive line isn’t one of them. Sheldon Richardson, Muhammad Wilkerson and the rest of line are extremely talented, and offer a foundation for the next coach to build around as the team begins to rebuild.
