Oakland Raiders vs. St. Louis Rams (UNDER 43)

Yes, you read that right. I’m picking a total and it’s going to be an under.

Oakland has failed to crack 17 points in eight of its eleven games, and the Raiders are facing a quality defense in St. Louis. The Rams are (finally) began to show signs of fulfilling their promise, especially along the defensive line, and with Derek Carr on the road to add fuel to that fire, this could (and should) be an ugly game.

On the St. Louis side, Shaun Hill remains Shaun Hill, and his weapons are barely mediocre. Aside from a minor renaissance from Tre Mason, there is nothing on this side of the ball that should scare the Raiders, and Oakland has been respectable on defense, even ranking 11th in the NFL against the pass.

Rooting against points isn’t fun, but the public loves overs and we don’t like the public.
