In the parody, two astronauts volunteer for a dangerous exploration of a planet rather than spending time on the mother ship with Anne Hathaway’s character—conveniently addressed as “Anne Hathaway” in the parody.
While they’re on the planet, 23 years elapse in orbit—curse you, time-warp-mumbo-jumbo-just-to-confuse-the-freaking-plot-line time shifting—but the Anne Hathaway character has somehow aged about 40 years.
And here we thought zero G was supposed to be easier on the old bones.
The parody is subtitled and, if you’re already seen the film, pretty funny—unless you’re one of those hardcore sci-fi, no-sense-of-humor-at-all types. In that case, you should probably steer clear.
Unless you enjoy being offended and having something to rant about; in that case, whale away on the old play button and let the angsty times roll!
Christopher Nolan’s epic left some questions unanswered, which to some moviegoers is akin to the wrath that spawns from a wife when a husband leaves the toilet seat up.
Maybe the parody will clear some of those up for you.
Not likely, but hey, hope springs eternal and all that jazz.
