5. Green Bay Packers Jordy Nelson
Aaron Rodgers go-to-guy all season has been a standout in Green Bay’s dangerous vertical passing game. Nelson – a definite Pro Bowler this season – has been sharp all season and has provided the MVP candidate Rodgers with a target that seems to beat his opponents relentlessly at the line of scrimmage. Nelson isn’t the fastest wideout on this list but his ability to get physical at the line with corners and get a quick step past them to get open and make tough catches have led to him having a huge success and creating a deadly QB-WR combo between him and Rodgers.
On the year, Nelson has caught 70 passes for 1,119 receiving yards and 10 TD catches and has helped lead the Packers to a 9-3 record – which is tied for the NFC’s best record. If Green Bay goes far come postseason time, then a big reason of that would be because of the constant production from Jordy Nelson.
