No. 28-25

28. Brian Hoyer – Cleveland Browns – Power Ranking Score: 187.7 (-4)

I’m guessing by the time this post hits FanSided.com that Cleveland will have announced their starting QB for this Sunday. On one hand, Hoyer makes sense because he’s brought them this far and they are still in the playoff hunt. On the other hand, Hoyer is trending in the wrong direction and perhaps Johnny Manziel would give the Browns a needed shot of adrenaline.

27. Zach Mettenberger – Tennessee Titans – Power Ranking Score: 192.8 (-1)

Mettenberger was knocked out of the game last Sunday but the Titans are hopeful he will be able to play this week. While I was skeptic of Mettenberger, it’s obvious that he’s got a much better chance of being the long term solution at QB for the Titans than Jake Locker. Hopefully he’ll be good to go on Sunday.

26. Teddy Bridgewater – Minnesota Vikings – Power Ranking Score: 196 (+2)

Teddy Bridgewater is slowly inching his way up from the bottom of these rankings. I think when all is said and done he will likely be the QB from this rookie class that has the best NFL career. He seems to slowly be improving as the season plays out.

25. Colt McCoy – Washington Redskins – Power Ranking Score: 268

If I had ranked Colt McCoy where his Power Ranking Score actually ranks he would have been tenth, just ahead of Matt Ryan. Obviously McCoy’s sample size is very small still and that’s why I slotted him here despite his high score. Still, given how poorly RG3 performed in this same offense it’s worth noting how good of numbers the seemingly less talented McCoy has put up in his limited time on the field.
