Serial Season 1 Finale: Listen To Final Podcast

Season 1 of ‘Serial‘ has come to an end and you can now listen to the final podcast of the series’ first run.

If you’re familiar with This American Life, you’re probably aware of Serial, the nonfiction podcast which is a spinoff of the series.

The weekly show recalls an investigation into a 1999 Baltimore murder in which a young woman was killed and her body discovered nearly a month later. Initially there are a handful of different scenarios in to how the woman may have died but focus is quickly put on her boyfriend as the series expanded.

For those who’ve yet to listen to the podcast, spoilers will be kept to a minimum but you may want to spend your evenings catching up on the series as the finale is now available for listening.

Keep in mind, this is a series that needs to be listened to in order, so skipping around or even jumping over episodes will throw a wrench in the storyline.

If you’re into murder mystery’s full of twists and unexpected turns , you’re probably not going to find a better avenue for such. There’s a reason Serial is the top podcast available on iTunes for a reason.

Essentially, this is an audio version of something you’d watch on a major broadcast network as This American Life host Ira Glass has previously stated.

Despite an end to Season 1 of Serial, fans of the podcast will be happy to know Season 2 has already been confirmed.
