A week after Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was injured in a car accident, the signal caller was back on the field and up to his old antics of destroying opposing NFL defenses.
That included a rushing touchdown against the Cleveland Browns and moments after scoring, Newton made his way towards the back of the end zone where he found a collection of young Carolina Panthers fans.
Being the nice guy that he is, Cam Newton decided to hand the ball off to the kids clamoring for the pigskin in the stands. Only problem? There was only one ball and three kids. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what was going to happen.
Not even a half second after the first kid secured the ball from Cam Newton, another attempted to take the ball away while a third quickly emerged and attempted to do the same (or maybe he was trying to help the original kid).
It’s hard to tell if Cam Newton had a particular kid in mind or if he was just giving it to the group and they were to sort it out on their own, but it was the smallest of the three who initially had the rock in his hands before the bigger boys attempted to get their mitts on it as well.
I guess Cam wasn’t thinking or didn’t care and figured it was on the parents to decide what was going to take place.
Hopefully somebody from the Panthers brings the other two kids some goodies because losing out on a game used ball from Cam Newton will scar you for life.
