T.Y. Hilton

The Indianapolis Colts got blown out by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. Although this game was over early, the Colts didn’t even score a point until garbage time late in the fourth quarter. Without T.Y. Hilton, the Cowboys shut down the Colts and Andrew Luck looked lost. All game, the Cowboys sent the blitz and having Hilton on the field would’ve helped because of his deep-ball speed.

The good news for the Colts is that Hilton’s injury isn’t serious. With the playoffs in less than two weeks, Hilton will need to be healthy when the Colts host their first playoff game. Hilton’s ability to take the top off the defense is second to none and it is clear that he is Luck’s favorite target. Without Hilton in Week 16, Luck, who has looked like an MVP candidate at times this season, had a ton of problems finding open receivers.
