Get NFL game previews and predictions for all of the week 17 match ups with the Armchair Quarterback’s Guide to the NFL.

Welcome to the final edition of the Armchair Quarterback’s Guide to the NFL for the 2014 season. Every week this post provides you with game by game previews and predictions for each of that week’s NFL match ups. As we look ahead to week 17 there are several key head to head match ups that have huge ramifications on the looming playoffs. There are several games that look like even match ups that could turn into great games. There are also several games that (at least on paper) look like they have a clear favorite.

After several strong weeks in a row, last week was a bit of a let down with my Armchair Quarterback picks going just 8-8 on the week. That brings my overall record on the season to 153-86-1. That’s a 64 percent success rate on picks so far this season. It’s not bad, but it is down a little from last year. I need a perfect 16-0 week for this final week to get to my goal of getting two out of every three games correct. I feel good about my picks this week, but in a NFL with this much parity a perfect week is going to be a challenge.

So whether you are watching specific games to see if your favorite team is going to get into the playoffs, are worried about playoff seeding, or just are looking to see if your favorite team is going to win their final game for the next eight months you can find the answer here in the Armchair Quarterback’s Guide to the NFL for Week 17.
