Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans

The Colts are stumbling a little headed into the playoffs having lost last week to Dallas 42-7. In fact, in their last three games against teams that have clinched playoff spots (Dallas, New England, and Pittsburgh) they were outscored by a combined 135-61. That’s why the Colts really need to get some confidence back in their last game before the playoffs. They may be on the road, but the 2-13 Titans with Charlie Whitehurst at QB are a good team to right the ship against. I think Andrew Luck and the Colts will be able to put up a few more points than the Titans are able to muster in this one.

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Saints have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this season. While you would hope that they would want to try and go out on a winning note, I haven’t seen that kind of fight out of the Saints this season. I also don’t like the match up of the Saints secondary against Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson who should both go over 1,000 yards receiving in this game. This is actually a lose/lose situation if Tampa Bay wins because it would likely take them out of the running for the first overall pick, which sounds about right given the season they are having this year.
