While the Detroit Lions will have the NFL playoffs to look forward to, there are still those who will be looking ahead to next season and wondering who their favorite team will play.
Outside of the normal NFC North rivals on the schedule, the Lions will face off against the teams from the NFC and AFC West.
That means a tough schedule for the Lions with the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks among the toughest opponents. Detroit will also have to face the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints thanks to finishing order in their respective divisions.
The team’s bye week will follow their trip to London for a meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs, if the league continues to award bye weeks after the overseas trips.
The Detroit Lions 2015 scheduled opponents can be seen below:
HOME: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, Arizona, San Francisco, Denver, Oakland, NFC East*
AWAY: Chicago, Green Bay, Minnesota, St. Louis, Seattle, San Diego, NFC South*
LONDON: Kansas City
The complete schedule with dates for each game on the 2015-16 NFL schedule will be confirmed at a later date.
