2. Move To Television

There have been some rumors about Rex Ryan potentially becoming a television NFL analyst, which would be an incredibly entertaining move. He has had fun with the media in the past, but joining the media would be a major change.

His personality fits fairly well with what networks like ESPN and Fox Sports like bringing on board, so there would likely be a contract waiting for him if he chose to go that route. That being said, it would be extremely tough for him to cut out the bad mouth that he has when talking about football. If he did choose to join TV as an analyst, he would add a lot of entertainment to whatever broadcast he was added to.

Ryan doesn’t seem like he is ready to give up his coaching career, which makes this move a bit of an outside option. If he doesn’t get an offer that he likes, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him walk away from coaching and join the media.
