11. Andy Dalton

When Andy Dalton is on, he’s a decent quarterback. However, the fact of the matter is that he is one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks in the league. There has been a connotation that follows Dalton around and that connotation is that he can’t win the big game. Well for four straight seasons as the starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, Dalton has brought his team to the playoffs. The three previous results have all been losses in the wild card round. The scary thing about Dalton is that the Bengals are committed to him long-term. After 2015, Dalton will make over $10 million a year. If you’re going to pay that much for a quarterback, you better make sure he can win the big games.

Although the Bengals will travel on the road to play the Indianapolis Colts, Dalton will have a chance to get rid of that connotation by winning in the wild card round. If the Bengals beat the Colts, their road will only get harder from there as they will travel to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots. Dalton hasn’t played well in the playoffs and that’s why his ranking is so low. Despite that, he can change the way people him by performing well on Sunday.
