4. Chris Paul

Chris Paul is probably has the purest point guard skills in the NBA. For some reason, however, there are certain times during the regular season that he just disappears, and it seems as if he disappears for MOST of the playoffs.

Paul is in his tenth season now, yet he has not gotten past the second round of the playoffs. He has the team in the Los Angeles Clippers and the coach in Doc Rivers to make noise in the playoffs, but it has not happened.

When playing some of the weaker teams around the league, Paul puts up All Star numbers and racks up wins. He led the league in assists (10.7) and steals (2.5). Come playoff time, however, his play has not translated into victories, and he has made mistakes that have cost his team playoff wins.

Even with his great skills, I cannot put him higher on this list. I mean, Rose has played ten games in two seasons, and missed all the Bulls’ last three playoff series games except for one in the past three seasons, yet he has taken his team to a conference finals.
