Watch the paint explode off this Oklahoma State helmet (Video)
By Hayden Kane
As the college football season rolls along, one of the craziest things you will ever see happened as the Oklahoma State Cowboys took on the Washington Huskies and some helmet paint exploded on one play.
Suffice it to say that there was helmet to helmet contact on this play. No dirty plays or malicious intent involved, presumably, but nevertheless some nasty helmet to helmet contact.

The play in question took place during the Cactus Bowl as the Oklahoma State Cowboys scratched out a victory over the Washington Huskies. But it’s not really the results of the game that have people talking; it’s the helmet paint explosion that is creating all the buzz.
Check out the video of the crazy helmet paint explosion below, including the odd visual of the helmet after the fact.
What seems especially disconcerting is how the helmet looks after the paint explosion. It doesn’t just look like there is some paint missing. It looks like the hit actually took a chunk out of the helmet.
For all of the snazzy uniforms and sharp looking helmets in college football these days, that has got to be some expensive paint that flew everywhere onto the field.
