1. Offensive Firepower

The Indianapolis Colts have the NFL’s best passing offense, and have all the weapons to give the Denver Broncos’ defense some major issues. T.Y. Hilton has stepped up to become a legitimate star, while Andrew Luck also has quality targets in Reggie Wayne, Coby Fleener, Dwayne Allen, Hakeem Nicks, and Donte Moncrief to work with.

Hilton especially is going to be a major key for the Colts to get going, and he came through with 82 catches for 1,345 yards and seven touchdowns during the regular season. Luck ended up throwing for 4,761 yards and 40 touchdowns himself in just his third NFL season. Indianapolis needs to make this game a shootout, and that will all depend on whether or not they can get off to a quick start with all of the weapons that they have.

Indianapolis went just 2-5 in the regular season against teams that ended up making the playoffs. While the Colts struggled to win big games against good teams during the regular season, they were able to prove themselves this past week in a big win over a solid Cincinnati Bengals football team. They were missing A.J. Green and Jermaine Gresham, but it was still a quality win.

Luck and the Colts need to head into Denver and show off their aerial attack that averaged 305.9 yards per game this season. Denver has some great talent defensively, but Luck can still torch them down the field with the plethora of weapons that he has.
