What five reasons can be given to show that the Indianapolis Colts can knock off the Denver Broncos next week?

The Indianapolis Colts were able to knock off the Cincinnati Bengals by a final score of 26-10, and will move on to face Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Obviously this matchup is going to be extremely fun to watch, as both teams have high-powered offenses that will be going up against each other head-to-head.

More from Denver Broncos

Denver ranked fourth in passing offense this past season, while Indianapolis was the top passing offense in the NFL. There is an advantage for the Broncos on the ground, however, as they ranked 15th in the league in rushing offense while the Colts came in at 22nd.

Perhaps the most glaring difference between the two teams is on the defensive side of the football. The Broncos saw their defense take a major jump forward this year, ranking ninth against the pass and second against the run in the regular season. Indianapolis on the other hand still has some inconsistency issues, and saw their defense rank 12th against the pass and 18th against the run.

While the numbers aren’t in the Colts’ favor on the field, they are still a quality football team with a chance to shock the NFL.

It isn’t going to be easy for them to head into Denver and knock off the defending AFC Champions from last year, but they have the ability to do just that. When these two teams met in Week 1 of the regular season, the Colts nearly came all the way back after starting slow and lost just 31-24.

What five reasons can be given to show that the Colts can head into Denver and come away with a huge victory to head to the AFC Championship?
