Colin Kaepernick wears sunglasses during dental visits (Photo)
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick recently paid a visit to his dentist in the exact way we imagine he does.
The San Francisco 49ers have some work to be done this NFL off-season. They are without a head coach, as Jim Harbaugh was practically shoved out the door following an 8-8 campaign that was preceded with three consecutive NFC Championship game appearances. Wide receiver Michael Crabtree appears to be on his way out as well, followed by long time running back Frank Gore. Colin Kaepernick has clearly regressed behind center, and will be looking to address concerns about his play when he works with an independent quarterback coach.

So how is this all affecting the aforementioned Kaepernick? Well, according to recent pictures from a dentist appointment, the man is “as cool as the other side of the pillow.” Rocking a pear of sunglasses that would make the Terminator proud, the Niners QB took the time to address a different concern a few days ago, oral hygiene. After all, you have to feel and look good to play good.
After the appointment was over, Kaerpernick took a moment to pose for a photo for the office’s staff. And while it is certainly not as nice as another playoff appearance for the storied franchise, now seemingly in the midst of a major transitional period, the visit was a pleasant surprise for a few local fans.
What is almost missed in the photo are those “Beats by Dre” headphones. Good thing those did not go unnoticed, because now it begs the following question. What was he listening to? Perhaps something to get him geared up for his routine check up. Here is hoping that it is Aloe Blacc’s “The Man.”
Not only is it perfect for drowning out unruly opposing team fans, but it helps clear your head of those annoying drill noises. Yes sir, it would appear that dental hygiene is certainly one thing that Kurt Warner, Jeff Garcia, or anyone that works with Kaepernick will not have to worry about.
