4. Dallas Cowboys

It was really was an excellent season for the Dallas Cowboys. Adding Zack Martin in the first round of the draft seemed like an interesting pick at first, but as football fans saw in 2014, thanks to Martin, Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, and the rest of their offensive line, the Cowboys flourished and it ultimately led them to a playoff victory. With the best offensive line in football, the Cowboys got the most out of Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray, Dez Bryant, and many more players on the offense.

The defense will need to improve going forward, but they will likely do so in a defensive line-heavy draft as well as some cap space in free agency. In the offseason, the major problems for the Cowboys will be the contracts of Bryant and Murray. Judging by Jerry Jones and Romo’s comments on Mike & Mike the other day, I believe that the Cowboys will re-sign Murray and franchise tag Bryant. Although that will cause cap problems in the future, the Cowboys are going to bringing back their best players as well as some newcomers who will only improve this team. Head coach Jason Garrett has this team headed in the right direction and the Cowboys’ window of winning the Super Bowl has never been more open in Romo’s tenure.
