4. Richard Sherman Vs. Tom Brady

Storylines always follow key players and that’s why his injury isn’t the only storyline following Sherman. Besides his elbow injury, one thing many people don’t know about is Sherman is his past history with future Hall of Famer Tom Brady. In 2012 when the Seahawks ousted the Patriots to a score of 24-23, the one image people remember is Sherman in Brady’s face after the game. At first glance, this image shows Brady being the one “bullied”, call if you will, however, Sherman has different comments from that picture. Sherman said that Brady did some trash-talking to him and his teammates.

"“He was just pretty much saying we were nobodies and that we should come up to him after they got the win,” Sherman, who intercepted Brady twice, said. “So we should take that pretty well? We should just [say], ‘Ah, cool, can I get your autograph, too?”"

It’s uncertain whether the right guy is Sherman or Brady in this game and that will remain a mystery until one of them admits the truth. However, what we do know is that whoever wins this game will get a good laugh. Expect Brady to test Sherman in this game and don’t be surprised if there is some scuttle after the game as well.
