The 2014 NFL Super Bowl was the most-watched television event in United States history and drew 111.5 million viewers, according to CBS News.
And, it wasn’t even a good game.
Because of the game’s huge audience, the Super Bowl is the perfect opportunity for companies to reach their customers through advertisements, very expensive advertisements.

For the 2015 Super Bowl, a 30-second ad spot cost companies $4.5 million, according to Yahoo! News.
Over the years, the Super Bowl commercials have become even more popular than the game and even the halftime show to the general, non-football fans. There are people who watch the game for the commercials, as ridiculous as it sounds.
