10. Snickers and Betty White

Betty White is one of the most prominent figures in the acting world, and she is still kicking it at the young age of 93 years old.

In 2010, Snickers featured Betty White, who was 88 years old at the time, in a pickup game of tackle football. In the ad, she gets destroyed trying to catch a pass over the middle. After getting up and walking back to the huddle, Betty is presented a snickers bar by one of her teammates. She eats the snickers bar and transforms into a teenaged boy.

The idea is a play on Snickers “You’re not you when you’re hungry” campaign and essentially means you are a completely different person when you’re hungry.

The commercial was the first of Snickers “You’re not you when you’re hungry” campaign, and it has continued for the last five years.  Although Betty White doesn’t appear in the commercials anymore, the ad has featured several other celebrities, including Robin Williams (Rest in peace!) and, most recently, Johnny Manziel.

Maybe one day Johnny Manziel will get to play in the Super Bowl… during a Snickers commercial because we all know he isn’t making it to the Super Bowl as a quarterback.
