14. Bud Light’s Cedric the Entertainer Spot

Bud Light always has big money commercials in the Super Bowl, although few have actually been good.

One of Bug Light’s best commercials was a spot in 2001 that aired during the XXXV Super Bowl, which also happened to be Tom Brady’s first Super Bowl.

Bud Light’s commercial starred professional funny man Cedric the Entertainer on a hot date. He and his date are sitting on the couch, and Cedric asks her is she wants a drink. She accepts his offer and Cedric heads to the kitchen to grab a few Bud Lights from the fridge.

After he grabs the drinks, Cedric, one of the coolest dudes in Hollywood, loses his cool and starts dancing with the beers in hand. He stops dancing and returns to his date with the drinks.

Cedric sits down on the couch and opens the beer for his date, but because his dancing shook up the beer, the beer sprays her in the face like she just won the World Series!

I don’t know why, but I really enjoy this ad! I guess I’ve always been a Cedric fan.

Bud Light is always great at advertising, but this was their best Super Bowl ad ever.
