13. Budweiser “Replay”

Budweiser’s Clydesdales should be featured in every one of their commercials, but their “Replay” commercial is one of their best ever.

In 2003, Budweiser took some shots at the refs and how long instant replay takes in their “Replay” commercial.

In the ad, the Clydesdales are playing football (like horses do…) and a play keeps being replayed on the screen. Seconds later, we cut to a wide shot of the horses lined up and waiting on both sides of the field while a zebra (the ref) watches the play over and over again.

According to Jeremy Schwartz and his YouTube channel, the Budweiser “Replay” commercial aired directly following a break in the action because of an instant replay review during the game, which could not have been more perfect.

I cannot confirm nor deny that statement, but if it is true, it’s so awesome!

The Budweiser Clydesdales are generally a fan favorite, and they will be back in action during this Super Bowl on Feb. 1.
