14. Joe Flacco in Super Bowl XLVII

QB, Baltimore Ravens

Joe Flacco went on one of the most impressive runs through the playoffs at the quarterback position in the 2012-13 season. His play culminated with a Super Bowl MVP award as the Baltimore Ravens held off the surging San Francisco 49ers that only seemed to shine after the stadium lights infamously went out.

In this game, Flacco was unequivocally the best player on the field. He threw for three touchdowns, zero interceptions and 287 yards on 22 completions on Feb. 3, 2013. The Ravens won the game 34-31 and Flacco’s performance will live on in Baltimore sports lore for eternity. He seems to play better when the stage is bigger and in the biggest game of his career he certainly didn’t disappoint.
