Everybody talks about the Seattle Seahawks secondary, known as the ‘Legion of Boom,’ for their hard-hitting, aggressive style of play, but no one gives them credit for being well-dressed, or at least they didn’t until they saw the new Sports Illustrated cover photo.
Leading up to the Super Bowl, Robert Klemko of SI did a cover story on the Seahawks Legion of Boom, and apparently wanted Richard Sherman for the cover. Then, this happened:

Not to be rude, but the Seahawks do look like the great R&B bands of the ’90s, and twitter agreed!
CBS’s Jared Dubin captured the best of twitter in his piece on the Seahawks, and even Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith got in on the action:

I don’t know if any of the Legion of Boom can sing, but it today’s pop music scene, looking the part is like 90 percent of the equation. Maybe the Seahawks secondary does have a future in music after all!
