Mark Rypien

Mark Rypien should’ve been tested for PED’s or any other kind of drug use for the season he had in 1991, which ultimately ended in him earning his first and only Super Bowl ring when the Redskins beat the Bills in Super Bowl XXVI.  (Then again, they played Buffalo and, well, we know Buffalo’s track record in the big game.)

During the regular season, Rypien threw for 3,564 yards with a career-best 28 touchdowns, winning the league MVP award.  By the way, it was the first year he started a full season.

Rypien threw for 292 yards with a pair of touchdowns in the big game, however only had one more 3,000 yard season after that and never started another full season after 1992.  He ended up back on the bench, going a combined 5-11 in spot starts from 1993-95.
