Puppy Bowl XI will feature goat cheerleaders

Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl XI will showcase Nigerian goats as cheerleaders.

The Super Bowl might be the premier entertainment spectacle of the year for most. It is the biggest game of any sport, save for maybe the World Cup finals. The commercials alone are worth watching for.

However, there is one thing the game lacks. There is music with Katy Perry at halftime, comedy in the form of gut-busting ads, and action on field. But where is the cuteness factor? That is where Animal Planet has you covered. Puppy Bowl XI will be broadcast on Sunday at 3 PM EST, and the channel has one new addition to the annual event; Nigerian goats.

What will they be doing exactly — Cheerleading of course.

Last year’s surprise was pretty interesting, but it’s certainly going to be tough to top those penguin cheerleaders. Leave it to the folks at Animal Planet to up their cuteness game though.

We are just lucky that animal lovers do not have to choose between the Super Bowl and the Puppy Bowl, because this year that decision is about as tough as it may ever be.

In case, you needed any extra convincing to tune in, the above video should cover that. We here at Fansided have a soft spot for this sort of cuteness overload. So naturally our collective monitors will likely be glued to the screen come game time. If you are not doing anything of value before 6:30 PM this Sunday, you have no excuse to miss this.
