2. Denver Nuggets

Brian Shaw and the Denver Nuggets would make a lot of sense for Roy Hibbert as well, and would likely have interest in acquiring him. Hibbert enjoyed playing under Shaw as an assistant coach two years ago in Indiana, and would likely enjoy playing for him again alongside of Kenneth Faried in the front-court.

Hibbert would add the presence in the front-court that the Nuggets have needed, and there is a deal that could be made. JaVale McGee and Gary Harris would be a very intriguing deal for the Pacers, due to the upside that Harris has. He has the potential to be the Pacers’ starting shooting guard in the future, and could be a very nice piece alongside of Paul George.

Denver would hate to get rid of Harris, but acquiring an upgrade at center and reuniting Hibbert with Shaw might be exactly what they need.

Both teams need to shake some things up in order to get back into playoff contention, and this could be the trade. Indiana and Denver both are a move or two away from competing next year, and this could be a huge step in the right direction for both franchises.
