Referring to the seaside town in Massachusetts, the Cape Cod — or the Cape Codder — is a delicious, fruity cocktail that is one of the more popular highballs in the cocktail world. On top of all that, it’s laughably easy to make. It’s essentially a Screwdriver but with cranberry juice instead. Delicious though!
The nice thing about the Cape Cod is that it’s the base for a lot of other cocktails out there like the Sea Breeze or the Bay Breeze, so if you got a couple more ingredients lying around you can experiment and come up with something new! Great drink for a summer day, even better drink for watching your favorite team go at it at the Super Bowl.
Ingredients
- 3 ounces cranberry juice
- 2 ounces vodka
- Lime garnish
Preparation
Mix the cranberry juice with the vodka and serve over ice in a highball glass. Or a red solo cup. We’re not too picky here.
